Peter Schmideg has devoted much of his professional life to helping people improve their workplace performance through shifting perceptions and assumptions as well as learning how to learn.
In his specialty of working with small groups and individuals, he draws upon a variety of approaches including Tavistock, Gestalt and Process Consulting depending on the client's needs.
During the early 1980's Peter ran his own consultancy in London for three years and also worked for short stints in Singapore and Hong Kong. Today, health care consulting is a thriving and highly successful part of Peter's corporate consultancy business. He works with doctors, specialists, dentists, dental specialists and opticians as a practice management consultant, giving them the tools to work more efficiently, and training staff to understand the key principles of patient service excellence, and other vital aspects of patient interaction.
He is the author of two books, both published by HarperCollins: Insight Out—Life's Great Possibilities and Your Guide to Working from Home: Getting Started, Getting Motivated, Getting Business. Peter has presented this work as an invited speaker at Stanford University.
Peter is a graduate of La Trobe University (Melbourne, Australia) and has continually expanded his consulting skills through participating in a wide variety of rigorous, accredited consultancy programs. He holds a post-graduate diploma in Organization Dynamics from Swinburne's Graduate School of Management.
